Hilary Edwards is a creative strategist who combines artistic vision with strategic thinking to craft impactful visual stories. As the Director of Creative Strategy at Piper & Gold Public Relations, she excels in branding, marketing and social media strategies.
 

Hilary has spearheaded high-profile projects, including Michigan State University (MSU) Athletics' season ticket materials, gaining national exposure and reaching hundreds of thousands of fans. She also played a key role in planning and promoting the grand opening of ATESTEO North America in East Lansing, Michigan, an event attended by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, that reached an audience of 457 million through media coverage, social media, and strategic partnerships. 
 

Driven by a passion for art education, Hilary independently designed and taught an "Intro to Graphic Design" course at REACH! Studio Art Center, where she inspired students aged 8 to 14 in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Additionally, she co-organized #ArtEL, a community art initiative at the East Lansing Art Festival, engaging thousands through interactive public art experiences. 
 

Hilary's commitment extends to supporting the advertising and marketing community. She formerly served as the Social Media Chair for the Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance (now AAF Lansing), fostering digital engagement and community-building. Hilary holds a Hootsuite Advanced Social Media Strategy Certification, providing her with expertise in digital strategy and analytics. She has also completed Project Management training through the Business Community Institute at Lansing Community College, enhancing her ability to efficiently manage large-scale creative projects. 
 

Her client list includes Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Michigan, Early Childhood Investment Corporation, and the Office of Financial Empowerment Lansing. A 2015 graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design, Hilary is passionate about transforming ideas into compelling visual narratives that drive engagement and create impact. She lives in mid-Michigan with her partner and their child. Her insights on navigating parental leave transitions were also featured in The Balance Money’s article, "7 Tips for Going Back to Work After a Baby."

This series consists of 35 illustrations in various mediums and media depicting six parts of the human sensory system of
six different people. Biologically, the featured parts are neither masculine nor feminine but exist within every human body. The viewer may perceive the color, style, and other known variables to make a personal association to gender based on subjective experience. The gender of the original model isn’t ever revealed, nor is it relevant.
